Within Every Problem Exists Opportunity

Recently I was out for dinner with my husband and a good friend. We were talking about a large piece of land that had come on the market. Our friend, who has a great combination of business savvy and vision, sees that there is a housing need for older adults who live active, vibrant lives. She is convinced that this piece of land is the perfect setting for people who want to stay in the community, downsize, and have peace of mind knowing that health care and assisted living are available should the need arise.

“Seriously, this is a real problem,” she said. “There is nothing like that in the area.”

My husband said,

“Whenever there’s a problem, it becomes an opportunity to create something new.”

What an insightful comment! His words were filled with enthusiasm and a sense of real possibility, which struck a chord with me.

Because, what is true in the business world is true when it comes to healing.

People often struggle these days with health concerns and worries about their future. Many are confronted with chronic illness or recovering from injuries. Muscle tension, inflammation, and pain are commonplace. Anxiety is going through the roof. Health concerns can really make life difficult.

But, what I have seen over the past ten years of practicing energy healing and addressing my own healing is that these challenges are actually opportunities to create something new.

Sometimes the opportunity takes us by surprise.

Paul Selig, author of The Book of Love and Creation, says:

“As you move through this life, you will have recurrent patterns and relationships that are provocative and are meant, really simply, to move you out of your comfort zone and into a new level of awareness.”

Both shamanic healing and Healing Touch help bring us to this new awareness. I have witnessed clients find the courage to end dysfunctional relationships, move on from toxic work environments, and let go of festering anger and resentment. Deeper patterns, once recognized, allow us to release physical and emotional pain and unravel limiting beliefs, bringing in a sense of clarity and inner power.

The key is to remember:

“Whenever there’s a problem, it becomes an opportunity to create something new.”
