2 Simple Ways To Maintain Healthy Boundaries

Melanie was a healer, and like many sensitive people, she felt she took on energies that weren’t hers.

At the end of a recent Healing Touch session, Melanie felt lighter and more clear. A few days later, she reported that her physical senses were sharper and her intuition was stronger. However, she was still feeling adversely affected by other people’s energy. She described feeling drained by certain people, and experienced a sticky heaviness when in large groups.

Here are my suggestions to maintain healthy boundaries:

1) Epsom salt baths in the evening to help clear away energy she may have picked up during the day.

2) Exercises to strengthen her aura/biofield and to prevent her from picking up others’ energy.

One of my favorites, the yoga sun salutation, is a great exercise for strengthening the field. Another simple exercise, especially if you feel drained when you’re with certain people, is to pause, take a deep breath, and re-ground yourself into the Earth, imagining the Earth absorbing and transmuting the energy.

These are just a couple of the many exercises I teach clients when we get together.

Remember, to prevent energy leaks, it is important for all of us to keep “healthy boundaries.”
