Do you ever feel as if you’re being pulled in many directions and can’t get anything done? If you’re trying to balance the responsibilities of work and family, keep up with friends, and find time for your own interests and needs, you may feel off-kilter, like you can’t get on track.
Your energy has become unbalanced.
There is a Healing Touch technique called the Chakra Connection that helps bring our energies back into balance.
What is the Chakra Connection?
The Chakra Connection is a full-body technique that incorporates a series of hand positions, beginning at the feet and working up to the crown of the head. The purpose of the Chakra Connection is to connect, open, and balance the energy centers, called chakras, and enhance the flow of energy through the body.
In a session with my client Jeanine, she shared with me all the many roles she was juggling and described feeling scattered and exhausted. I assessed her chakras with a pendulum, which showed an imbalance in the flow of energy. I performed the Chakra Connection by placing my hands lightly on the various parts of her body. If Jeanine had preferred to not be touched, I could have hovered my hands a few inches above her body. The technique is just as effective either way.
As I placed my hands at each position, I could sense where Jeanine’s energy was blocked or depleted, and also noticed as the energy shifted, feeling a magnetic fullness underneath my hands. Working my way up the legs and torso, I began to notice changes in Jeanine’s breathing. It became deeper and slower, indicating that the relaxation response had been elicited. Energy that was stuck or blocked was being released and Jeanine was circulating fresh, healing energy with each inhale. At times Jeanine had an involuntary muscle movement, indicating a release of tension.
At the end of the Chakra Connection, my energetic assessment with the pendulum indicated her chakras were open and vibrant. Jeanine reported that she felt more calm, whole, and centered. With her energies back in balance, she is better able to move forward with clarity and confidence as she navigates the daily challenges in her life.
